1978 3-Move Nationals in Murfreesboro, TN
The ACF 31st Nationals 3-Move Tournament held in Murfreesboro, TN on June 9 thru 15 with a smashing record entrants of a 168 players! This is the largest National Checker Tournament to date in both attendance and prize fund. 32 Masters, 79 Majors, and 52 Minors. Total funds raised $17,214.00 with over $8,000 prize fund payout. This was the heydays of Tennessee checkers under Tom Steagall.
