MORRISON, Earl Allen 1934 - 2015 Passed away peacefully February 17, 2015 after a struggle with cancer. May he rest in peace. He is survived by his brothers Bruce and Don and sisters Mary and Doreen, children Kim, Rick, Steve and Donna, grandchildren, Keith, Cynthia, Eric, Melissa, Tyler, Celena and Allison. IM Earl A. Morrison live in St. Lambert, Quebec, Canada and a Life-Time ACF member.  He was a lively gentleman and International Master checker player. Earl was an active tournament player playing several US tournament a year.  He was usually at our National. We will miss him.  His last National was at the 2013 GAYP National Open held at Holiday Inn in Cincinnati, OH. Earl played in the Joe Schwartz's 2013 Florida State Open, and following that he and Joe played a 40 game "stake match".

Earl Allen Morrison 1934-2015,passed away peacefully February 17th 2015 after a struggle with cancer.  May he rest in peace.  He is survived his brothers Bruce and Don sisters Mary and Doreen.  His children Kim, Rick, Steve and Donna and his many grand-children and great grand-children. Earl was also a Canadian Navy Veteran, a championship swimmer and worked at Pratt and Whitney as an aircraft engine parts inspector.  For people interested, condolences can be sent to Morrison Family at 258 North Road, Austin QC, J0B 1B0.  You can use what you want to use, or rather what you can use within the confines of the space available in the newsletter but Mr. Loy did assure me that last part would for the condolences would be included.  I'd like to thank everyone for the information you have given me on my grand-father, it is all very appreciated because I knew him little.  I really do wish I had gotten to know him better.  Best regards to the entire ACF team, an enormous thank you for your time and condolences.  Looking forward to that April edition of the bulletin.
