Pete Schmucker's Checker Meet
held at Pete and Elle Schmucker's home,
Shipshewana, IN - Friday & Saturday, June 7th and 8th 2013 I was informed by Crist Miller that most of the Amish players from the Ohio area would
be sharing rides to play the Indiana group. They plan to arrive Friday
afternoon for three rounds of 3-Move and follow up playing three or four
more rounds Saturday morning, finishing early Saturday evening. This Lagrange County,
Indiana checker get-together will serve as a "tune-up" for the Mid-Ohio
Meet. They may schedule a couple more small group checker gatherings before
the August 16th & 17th Meet. All the top
players from Ohio and Indiana will be there, so bring a friend and join the

Joe Weaver, Crist Miller, Harvey Hochstetler, Aden Keim, and John Troyer drove
the 300 mile northwestern trip together into northeastern Indiana to meet up with others. Kenny
Miller, Pete Schmucker and 5 to 7 more Indiana players are expected. RESULTS:
