Al was originally from NY and a US Veteran. He lived in a number of cities but later life in Bellevue, NE and lived out the remainder of his life in Eastern Nebraska Veterans Home, Omaha, NE. Dave Stovie visited with him on his first day at the home on November 14, 2007. He also was his checker playing friend who visited Al.
