Jeff won the 1981 World Youth Championship at age
15 in Bristol, England
This was a sanctioned EDA & ACF World Youth
Championship Title Tourney held in England with Ireland, Scotland, UK, & US
represented.
On Lindus Edward site he has pictures showing this event. Jeff beat
Andrew Knapp for the World Youth Championship title at Bristol, England. "I
can see Andrew now as he played 9-14 with red in every game and 23-18 with
white against your 11-15." I posted a copy of a newspaper cutting and a
photograph of my own on my site which you have no doubt seen concerning that
event. If not I will send you the link. It was also a pleasure for me to meet
your uncle John Webster at the International Match in 1989 at
Weston-super-Mare.
