**- 1960's 17 players (1960 had 22 players)**

**- 1970's 12 players (1978 had 17 players)**

**- 1980's 17 players (1980 had 22 players)**

**- 1898 to 2005 had 1732 entries by 107
years = 16 per year.**

** - 1925 & 1926 were the peak years and
had 32 entries each.**

**- the last elected officers were in 1973.**

**- the power of office was given to Lloyd
Mills in 1974. He ran the whole thing for 17 years. He then passed
on the power of control to John Pestal in 1990. Lloyd Mills passed away
that same year after he won his 38th State Championship. **
