Paul Lee Hines, age 99 of Olmstead, Kentucky passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee. He was born in Olmstead, Kentucky on August 23, 1926 to the late Maurice Daniel Hines and Nellie Cunningham Hines. He was a farmer and Bethany Church of Christ. He loved to play checkers and was an avid bird hunter. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vinie Sears Hines. He is survived by:

Funeral Services for Paul Lee Hines will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Harris Dockins officiating with burial to follow in Belmont Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Saturday, December 20, 2025 will be held from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and Sunday from 11:00 am until the service hour of 2:00 pm.
Memorial donations may be made to the Logan County Humane Society, 1970 Lewisburg Road, Russellville, KY 42276.

Paul's wife, Vinie D. Hines 87 of Paul Hines Road, Olmstead, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at her home. She was a Logan County native, born April 4, 1926, to the late Eugene Sears and Vivian S. Sears.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Crittenden Drive Church of Christ.

 

Paul owned and operated one of the prettiest farms located on 247 Paul Hines Road in Logan County, Kentucky.
