Congratulations to GM Alex Moiseyev for winning the 2010 US National Champion and three players tied on points for 2nd, with the order of finish by honor points being Ron King (2nd), Richard Hallett (3rd) and Larry Keen (4th). Teal Stanley for winning the 2010 US National Majors Champion. Congratulations to Nick Addante and Earl Harvell or winning the 2010 US National Minors Champion as Co-Champions and Kim Willis and Trey Stanley winning their respective titles, Kim won the ladies title, and Trey won the youth title. Jack Francis won the inaugural Gene Lindsay "most games won" plaque for the master player who had the most wins (Jack had 10).  GM stands for Grand Master, IM for International Master, WIM for Women International Master, and CM for Candidate Master. Roger Doll, Referee, Richard Beckwith, Kim Willis, & John Acker were scorekeeping with SwissPerfect. T separates player's opponent from player's accumulated game points. (win=2, draw=1, loss=0, bye=3)   Ratings from WCDF January/June 2010 - No. 6  John Acker did a super job in preparing poster-boards, displays, taking videos, documenting, re-published Basic Checkers, getting news media, and reporting about all this on ACF Forum and his blog to honor Mr. Fortman at this tournament. Mr. Fortman passed away November 8, 2008.  I believe all agree it was a fitting tribute to this important checker icon.  The Fortman families responded by attending and Daryl and Cindy Ponder expressed their appreciation by catering a wonderful meal for the players. Jimmy O'Grady bought and donated time clocks to ACF at Springfield, IL Nationals.  The Total cash Prize: $11,800 split: $7,850 Masters - 66.5%, $2,540 Majors - 21.5% , $1,410 Minors - 12%
